How we treat
Corella Physiotherapy is a private practice in Bayswater. We treat backs, knees, shoulders, sports injuries and the aches that come with sitting still or getting older. Assessment first, a clear plan second, and exercises you can actually do at home.
The first appointment is mostly listening. We want to know what hurts, when it started and what you need to get back to, whether that is a marathon or the garden. Then we assess properly and explain what we found in plain terms. Treatment is hands-on where that helps, but most recovery happens between appointments, so we keep home programs short and realistic.
We will tell you honestly how long things are likely to take and when it is time to see someone else.
The aim is fewer visits, not more.
Before your first appointment
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book directly. Referrals are needed only for some workers compensation and veterans' claims.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes, any scans or reports you have, and your health fund card if you have one.
Can you treat me at home?
Yes, for people who cannot easily get to the clinic. Ask when you book and we will arrange a home visit.
