Halyard is a licensed electrical contractor working across Perth's northern suburbs. Switchboards, rewires, solar and batteries, EV chargers and the small jobs other people put off. We quote in writing, turn up when we say and leave the place tidy.
Can you add a battery to an existing solar system?
Usually. It depends on the inverter you have, so we check that first and quote from there.

How we work
We are electricians first.
Solar came later, because customers asked, and we learnt it properly before we sold it. Every job starts with a look at the switchboard. Most problems live there. We quote in writing. The price on the quote is the price on the invoice. If something changes on site, we stop and call before we go on.
We work north of the river, from Wangara out to the coast and up to Two Rocks. We keep the van stocked so we are not driving back for parts. We clean up. We label what we touched. Then we leave.
Questions we get asked
Do you charge a call-out fee?
Yes, for fault finding and repairs, and we tell you the amount when you book. Quoted jobs have no separate call-out charge.
Can you add a battery to an existing solar system?
Usually. It depends on the inverter you have, so we check that first and quote from there.
Do you work in strata buildings and rentals?
Yes. We coordinate with the strata manager or property manager and send the paperwork straight to them.
