The Tallow Room is a dim, unhurried bar in Northbridge. Cocktails made properly, a back bar of whisky and amaro, cold beer for people who want cold beer. Open late, no televisions, no DJs, no queue theatre.

    The back bar runs deep; ask and we will pour you something you have not tried.

    The whole room, your music, our bartenders, for a night that is yours.

    Birthdays, launches and the office thing; we handle the drinks and you handle the guests.

Do you take bookings?

For groups, yes. Otherwise walk in and take your chances, which are usually good.

Is there a dress code?

No. Come as you are, within reason.

Can we hire the room?

Yes, for a whole night or the early part of one. Send us the date and a rough headcount and we will send back what it costs.
