The edit
We buy in small quantities from makers whose work we have worn ourselves. The range is short by design. A good linen shirt, a coat that lasts, trousers that can be let out when life changes. Most pieces come in a few colours that sit together, so what you bought last year still works with what you buy this year. The tailor sits at the back of the store and takes up hems while you wait for the kettle. We would rather you bought one thing you will keep than three things you will not. That is the whole idea.

- Do you sell online?
- Yes, with click and collect from the Claremont store. We post within Australia as well.
- What is your returns policy?
- Unworn pieces with tags can be exchanged or refunded. Altered pieces are yours, so we fit carefully before we cut.
- Do you stock extended sizes?
- The range runs across a broad set of sizes and the tailor can take most pieces in or out. Ask and we will tell you honestly what will work.
